Paris Hilton joins the leather brigade

I know that leather will never really go out of fashion - especially if you, y'know, own a motorbike - but who knew that it was back in fashion in quite such a big way?

First, there was Angelina Jolie in her black leather trousers. And then there was Kylie in her black leather blouson. Why, even Elle Macpherson was out in top-to-toe (OK, top-to-thigh) black leather at a film premiere in New York last night.

And now Paris Hilton has been spotted doing exactly what Leona Lewis did last week - and wearing leather on a chilly night out.

Black leather jacket? Check. Short satin party frock? Check. Turning on the Christmas lights in Birmingham? Erm, well, actually - more 'Going out for the night in New York before launching her perfume at the Ritz Carlton the following day'. But, you know, it was almost an identical situation there for a moment.
