Kelly Brook almost gets the boot from Strictly Come Dancing
Ooh, tensions were high on Strictly Come Dancing last night, as Brendan "Badboy of Ballroom" Cole argued with the judges about his "flat Samba". Or something.
Yes, Kelly Brook and her dancing partner received their lowest score so far and found themselves in the bottom two - or is that bottom four? - of the competition, after the judges laid into them about their performance.
Len Goodman told Brendan that it "wasn't a good dance routine for a girl of this talent, with Bruno Tonioli adding: "It's like having Judi Dench and getting her to read the Yellow Pages." Arlene Phillips got her metaphors a little mixed up, bless her, telling the pair: "Honestly my high expectations have fallen on a flat balloon." But I think we know what she meant. And Brendan's response to the criticism? To blame Kelly! "She's not a professional dancer," he whined. The cheek!
Still, Kelly and Brendan have lived to fight - or rather, dance - another day. But can they get themselves back on form and win the show? Well, hopefully. If unprofessional Kelly doesn't let her professional partner down, of course...
