Jessica Alba works the LBD

Jessica Alba's red carpet style rarely lets us down at a film premiere. Style wise that is. The lacy LBD she wore last night is excuse enough for us to go no comment on Good Luck Chuck.

In New York for the premiere of her new film Awake (also starring the hunky Hayden Christensen), Ms. Alba was lovely lace. With a black lace overlay, scalloped neckline and puffed lace sleeves this dress isn't just any old LBD. Add a pair of black tights, the obligatory Louboutins (If only we all could feel obliged to sport the red soles!) and you've got yourself a winner.

We're also noting the black dress with silver heels trend that's going on at the moment. We saw Chanelle try it out with a flapper style dress, but we're thinking the addition of a pair of opaque black tights here really makes the look. But then Jessica does have all the details right: diamond drop earrings, burgundy manicure, wavy up-do.
