Tonight Matthew, Lucy Liu is...Carrie Bradshaw

Wow, that's quite some outfit Lucy Liu has on there.

To be fair, she's not just off to buy a pint of milk in that funky combo. This pic is from the set of Cashmere Mafia, a show that looks at the lives, loves and fashions of four high-powered career women in NYC.

Sound familiar? What with writer Darren Star producing the show, and Patricia Field returning as resident stylist, it looks like we’ve got ourselves a whole new Sex and the City to get obsessed with.

It's obvious that Lucy Liu is the Carrie Bradshaw-a-like character, with this get-up looking very much like her wardrobe circa seasons 4/5. The problem is, Lucy Liu just can't do justice to this tartan hat and blazer, pastel pink shorts, knee high grey socks and gold wedge sandals combo like good ol' SJP.

In fact she looks a lot more like...(drum roll please)...Lucy Eeew.

Oh come on, you know you love it.
