Crocs - hot or not?

erin2.jpgWell, if you're two-year-old Erin here, you'd clearly say "hot". I, on the other hand, beg to differ. (Sorry, Erin. We may agree on the merits of Angelina Ballerina, but I'm not budging on this one.)

Yes, forget the "I'm not a plastic bag" furore - the hot fashion topic of the day is whether it's acceptable to wear the brightly coloured plastic clogs cutely named 'Crocs'. As far as I'm concerned, it's OK to sport Crocs if:

- You're under eight years of age, or

- You're doing the gardening, or

erin1.jpg- You have some sort of arthritic condition which requires you to wear them.

And that's about it. But hey, what do I know? You may think that Crocs are the coolest footwear since Heelys (which are, admittedly, very cool) and be adding Erin to your list of style icons right now. Hell, she's even customised her Crocs, by the looks of things - so I wouldn't blame you.

    Loving Erin's custom Crocs!

    I was all against the Croc thing until i saw a woman with cream trousers and khaki Crocs on - dare i say they actually looked stylish?

    But a neon orange pair with a mis-matched outfit takes "statement shoes" too far! Sort it out!
