Karl Lagerfeld has discussed his favourite female artists while guest editing a New York newspaper.
The head of legendary fashion house, Chanel told Metro New York that Adele was a "little too fat" although he "preferred her and Florence Welch" to new singer, Lana del Ray.
He said: "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a
beautiful face and a divine voice.
"Lana del Ray is not bad at all. She
looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is
beautiful".
The outspoken designer then waded in to the debate about Lana's alleged lip fillers, adding: "Is she a construct with all her implants? She's not alone
with implants".
Karl even gave his views on MIA's controversial Super Bowl performance in the issue, published today. She flipped her middle finger at the camera while performing with Madonna on Sunday night.
"Nowadays people give the middle finger quite quickly - it's not the
best behaviour. Everybody does that, what's new about that? It's just
become a bad habit.
"People in magazines are 50% bimbo and 50% pregnant
women", he said.
She may be in America to work but the Osoyou office has been obsessing over Tulisa's LA wardrobe since she touched down last week, and now we've tracked down that checked dress.
As we reported earlier, the N-Dubz singer and X Factor judge has packed plenty of high street staples in her suitcase. We've spotted her in two Lipsy dresses already, and now one from Prodigy Red.
Tulisa's a big fan of the affordable online brand - she already owns one of their jackets. No surprise then that she snapped up this dog tooth check dress to wear on her business trip.
Forget Taylor Lautner, actress Lily Collins is apparently dating a new Hollywood hottie: Zac Efron.
The pair were reportedly seen getting cosy at a steakhouse in LA on Saturday night. They then left through the restaurant's back exit to try and avoid the pap's who had gathered outside.
While Lily took the attention in her stride, Zac apparently looked rather shocked as they were whisked away in a waiting car.
"Zac literally ran to the car and jumped in", a pap told American website X17online.com. "But Lily kept her cool and took her time. She wasn't worried about not being seen by us."
Lily's the daughter of musician, Phil Collins. She's just landed the role of Snow White in a film adaptation of the classic fairytale.
Maybe she was just asking Zac for some acting tips?

It's not often that we advocate white leather. In fact - before Mollie King stepped out in these white leather trousers - only Katy Perry had managed to make it wearable, and her gold studded leather dress was Versace.
Mollie's take on spring's trickiest trend works for two reasons. Firstly, we almost mistook her skinny All Saints trousers for jeans. They sit comfortably, flatter her long legs and don't look too heavy.
Also, when we think white trousers, we usually think Liz Hurley. When we think white leather, we think TOWIE. Mollie's peachy-hued jumper and tan boots aren't cliche at all. No wonder The Saturdays singer was sat front row at London College of Fashion's degree show!
In fact we're so in awe that we might give white leather a go ourselves. Time to start saving for the real stuff, pleather isn't going to cut it!
Tulisa Constostavlos clearly stocked up on Lipsy's dresses before jetting off to record her debut album in America.
Since arriving in LA last week, we've spotted the N-Dubz singer and X Factor judge in two looks from Pixie Lott's favourite label.
First up, Tulisa wore a tribal print bodycon vest for a day in the studio. She teamed the relaxed dress with her trusty black peep-toe boots.
After a long morning working, she changed for an afternoon of meetings. This time opting for a ruched digital print dress with nude Christian Louboutin pumps. Very Victoria Beckham!
Tulisa's in America to work on her solo project with Rihanna's producer.
She apparently split from bandmate and boyfriend, Fazer recently because he allegedly wanted her to settle down and have children.
Russell Brand is reportedly trying to move on from soon-to-be-ex-wife, Katy Perry by sending flirty text messages to Zooey Deschanel.
The comedian has apparently had a thing for New Girl actress, Zooey for a little while. And now that they're both going through divorce, he allegedly wants to take her on a date.
An insider apparently told OK!: "Russell has had his eye on Zooey for a long time. And he's been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together.
"He
thinks she's hysterically funny and cute, too. He loves her quirky
sense of humour, and thinks they'd be great together both on-and
off-screen. There's a real spark there."
Zooey is apparently "very aware" though that she's pretty much the double of the singer.
Katy hasn't been letting the rumours get her down. Last night she was snapped looking very sporty at the Super Bowl...
Russell filed for divorce from Katy in December, three days after Zooey split from her husband, Ben Gibbard.

The pup is thought to be a ten-week-old Cocker Spaniel, bred by Kate's mother, Carole Middleton. The couple are apparently keen to keep the dog's name under wraps - reportedly telling palace aides that it is a "private" matter.
Search and Rescue pilot, William has now flown to the Falkland Islands on routine deployment for six weeks. It's thought Kate and the pup will spend time in London while he's away.

We can see why she's so smitten. Not only are the trousers effortlessly stylish (on first look we were convinced they'd be designer), but they also managed to balance out one of spring's trickier trends, the peplum top, perfectly. Oh, and did we mention the less than £30 price tag?
